There’s no doubt that team work is crucial to success. Sure, you can get a lot of stuff done by yourself (if you have the skills, time) but making it happen in the long-term requires a team – people who can provide support, expertise, and stamina.
I prepared for an event yesterday, and was told that “what they’re doing there, that’s YOUR job…”
“I delegated,” I said. “I can’t do it all myself.”
Part of going far is allowing yourself some help, too. Recognize when you need others to work a problem with you, or when others would add 10x to your equation.
This has taken too long for me to learn. I’m getting better, though. One step at a time. With others.
